On July 15, 2021, MECACHROME announced the acquisition of the Hitim Group, specializing in high-precision mechanics and special processes. A first stage in its consolidation strategy.  

This merger strengthens the transformation strategy undertaken in 2019 by the group CEO Christian Cornille: “This acquisition is an additional stage in the execution of the MECACHROME group’s Transformation Plan, designed to adapt it to current and future evolutions in the aeronautical industry”.

With the implementation of its transformation plan, MECACHROME confirms its ambitions to respond to the new challenges in the aeronautical industry while developing its technological capacity and its opening up to new opportunities.  

The acquisition of Hitim, an expert in landing gear axles and aircraft engine drive shafts will be financed by MECACHROME’s principal shareholders Ace Capital Partners and Bpifrance.
